We went to see that new Winnie the Pooh movie today. It was Tru’s first time at a movie theater and he was a little bit in awe. We went with my sister, two of her kids and our friend Heidi and her daughter. The best part was that we had the whole theater to ourselves!
We kinda talked about the whole experience with Tru when we got out of the theater. We said, “That was a big screen, huh?” Tru said, “Yeah, it’s bigger than God!”

How fitting . . . Hollywood does seem to think it is God at times.

I took Bradley to see the Barney movie for his first movie when he was 3, we had to leave before the opening credits were done, he freaked.

I’ve been wanting to take Rachel to her first movie at a theater, too, and have been thinking the new Winnie the Pooh one might be a good one for it. What did you think? Was Tru interested in the movie? Rachel has pretty much moved beyond Winnie the Pooh, but I thought the movie theater experience might hold her interest.
