Wow! I wondered what was going on with that whole tatty jeans and tatty sweater thing for people in my generation (end of the boomers).
What a fascinating article! Social anthropology at the coal face of its time.
I “might” be a Wanna-Be Grup because I DO like todays music (well… some of the hipper, cooler stuff anyway) but don’t ask me to chat/post in SMS-text speak! I’m old fashioned when it comes to english spelling.
