Don’t eat and run

I usually run between 5am and 6am, but today I ran at about 10am (it’s Saturday). Made the mistake of eating breakfast and then running. Nothing like the feeling of a stomachful of corn flakes sloshing around while you run. Ugh.

I planned to do a little bit longer route today–I wanted to do four miles, but it ended up being 3.9. Felt like four, though.

My legs were a little bit sore yesterday from Thursday’s run, but this morning they felt pretty good. I stretched my calves out after the run today and now they’re pretty sore. Hope that goes away soon. Also, I ran in different shoes today. It was raining so I ran in the Salomons, which are Gore-Tex. Kinda fun to splash through puddles without getting wet feet.
