An easy one
Monday, September 19th, 2005I remember when the 3.2 mile loop wasn’t quite so easy. Today it seemed to cruise right by. My time hasn’t really gotten any better, but somehow the run itself seemed easier. Sans Frodo, of course.

Ran the long route again today. Went pretty well, got real sweaty. I guess that’s good. I’m thinking of stepping up .3 mile to this route next time.
Ran a longer route today–4.57 miles, according to the Google Pedometer. Needless to say, Frodo didn’t go along. It felt pretty good for most of the run, but I started getting gnarly high-chest/neck cramps during the last 1/2 mile or so, and I walked for about a block. Still, even with the walking, I ended […]
Ran the 3.2 mile loop without Frodo this morning and that dropped a couple of minutes off the time. Ended up with a high 8 minute mile–nice.
Felt pretty good too. No cramps, good breathing, not excessively tired. Wish every run could be like this.
Was a little short on time this morning, so I kept the run short too. Did the 1.5 mile loop and called it good. Didn’t do measurements, so I’m just taking the stats from the next closest run (next day).
Left Frodo at home today and did the Dayton Ave route by myself. About 5 minutes after leaving the house, I tripped over a raised edge on the sidewalk and took a little digger. Fortunately it was still dark and nobody saw it. Didn’t draw any blood either, so that’s nice. Other than that, it […]
